Problem Statements for IRC School League: Season 10

This year’s theme of IRC School League is Bot Olympics. We want children to be the best they can be and come up with agile, audacious and resolute robots which can compete in the true Olympian sense. The purpose is to inspire and motivate the youth to design and build robots which can withstand the trials and tribulations of the elite competition.

There are different problem statements for Junior, Middle and Senior levels as follows:

Junior Level

A Hurdle Race is a track and field event in which athletes run a pre-set distance while avoiding various hurdles in their path. In this version of the game, the bots need to clear hurdles, collect them and create pre-defined stack from these collected hurdles.

Middle Level

Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet towards a target area which is segmented into concentric circles. Teams take turns sliding stones, also called rocks, across the sheet towards the house, a circular target marked on the sheet.

A relay race is a track and field event in which athletes run a pre-set distance carrying a baton before passing it onto the next runner.
